Feis-Out is a platform for organising and running Irish dancing feiseanna (competitions): event listings, entries, judging, results, invoicing, and related communication between dance schools, organisers, judges, announcers, dancers, and their guardians.
You need an account to use most of Feis-Out. Your account can hold one or more roles (organiser, judge, announcer, dancer, guardian) that determine what you can see and do. Roles are assigned by a school organiser or a platform admin — you can't grant yourself a role. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account.
Many dancers using Feis-Out are minors. A dancer's profile may be created and managed by a parent or guardian, or by their dance school, rather than by the dancer directly. A guardian is responsible for the accuracy of information entered for a dancer they manage.
You're responsible for the accuracy of information you submit — dancer details, entries, judging feedback, invoices, announcements, and anything else you enter. Don't submit anything you don't have the right to share, or anything abusive, defamatory, or unlawful.
Where Feis-Out is used to collect entry fees or other payments, card processing is handled by Stripe. Feis-Out does not store your full card details. Refund and cancellation terms for a specific Feis are set by that event's organiser, not by Feis-Out itself.
Judging feedback and results are entered by judges, announcers, and organisers using this platform. Feis-Out provides the tooling but is not itself a judging or governing body, and doesn't adjudicate disputes about a placement or a score.
We aim to keep Feis-Out available and reliable, especially around live events, but don't guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may change, be added, or be removed over time.
Feis-Out is provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, Feis-Out isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the platform, including issues arising from information entered by other users (schools, organisers, judges, etc.).
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of Feis-Out after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Questions about these terms can be sent via a support ticket from your account, or through your platform admin.
